Honoring our community's veterans through commemorative banners
Our Mission
The Ardsley Veteran Tribute Banners program honors the men and women of our community who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Through commemorative banners displayed throughout our town, we recognize the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of those who answered the call to serve.
The Banners
Each banner features a photograph of the veteran, their name, branch of service, rank, years served, war or conflict, and any medals or commendations received.
Proudly showcased on light poles throughout our community during the entire month of November for Veterans Month, these banners create a powerful visual tribute that reminds us daily of the sacrifices made by our neighbors, friends, and family members.
Created as a Girl Scout Silver Award Project by local Ardsley Girl Scout, Emma Olszowski, this website serves as a digital extension of that annual tribute, ensuring their stories and service can be honored all year long.
